The Saturday after Thanksgiving we showed Grandma Cookie (Jer's mom) around the tri-cities. Outside of town is a store called the Country Mercantile. They sale all sorts of things that have been grown or made in this area. They make fudge there. The kids like to watch them making it. It's a fun place.

The kids like to climb on the tractor.
They always have a seasonal activity going on. The weekend we went they had just got a reindeer.

For some reason the reindeer really liked Jer. Every time he moved it would follow him. Tim wasn't in a photogenic mood so I just got pictures of Christine.

Did you know that reindeer click when they walk? They have a tendon in their leg that clicks when they take a step. It is believed that this is to help them stay together as a herd in snowy or foggy weather.

Our next stop was Columbia River Park. The kids love the castle and Tim likes to drive the boat. It was warmer than it has been, but the wind was cold so we didn't stay long.
