Happy Holidays!

So far we have enjoyed our holidays. We spent Christmas eve at a friends house. They had a party for those of us who were staying in town and had no family close. Jer and I stayed late and played a new game we got for Christmas.

We woke the kids up at 7:30 Christmas morning. Because we stayed up so late the night before I think that was a little early for them.

We took our time opening presents and didn't finish until almost 5PM. It was nice to be able to open our gifts one at a time and actually let the kids get the toy out of the box and play with it. We had Christmas dinner with some good friends and once again stayed late playing games and talking. It was a very relaxing day for us.

The weather here has been milder than what we were used to. We got one snow fall (about 1/8") that was quickly covered in a sheet of ice. The kids were excited to see snow. It is snowing today and they say we could get an inch. Which to us is more like a heavy frost then snow!

The biggest news we have from our holiday festivities is that I had my ultra sound on the 23rd. We had them not tell us what it was and put the pictures in a sealed envelope. We put the envelope on the Christmas tree and opened it Christmas morning. It's a boy! I'm due about the same time as my little sister and she is having a boy too. We are very excited for Tim to have a little friend to play with. Christine's pink dress-ups just don't look quit right on Tim.
